Kristina Shackelford (She/Her)

Kristina is one of the Co-Founder's of Katy Pride LGBTQ Inc. and is excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for the organization. She is a graduate of Northwestern State University in Louisiana and although born-and-raised in Texas, she also considers herself an honorary Cajun. Kristina has previously served on the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and currently serves as a Board Member of the Katy ISD Education Foundation. She is passionate about creating memorable and engaging events that create safe spaces and networking opportunities for the LGBTQ community, especially in the place she calls home, Katy, TX. With over 20 years of experience in sales, leadership, marketing, and event planning, she enjoys meeting new people from all walks of life any chance she gets. When she isn't focused on Katy Pride, snuggling with her two kids, or spending time with her wife, she enjoys coffee shops, decorating for the next holiday, listening to her current audiobook or a good crime documentary.
