Anne Russey (She/Her)

Anne Russey is excited to merge her passions for LGBTQIA+ rights and inclusion, public education and relationship building in her role as Katy Pride's VP of Community & Education. As Anne has witnessed her hometown succumb to anti-LGBTQIA+ extremism, she has become an accidental outspoken advocate for Katy's LGBTQIA+ students, staff and families. Professionally, Anne has nearly 15 years of counseling experience, working with LGBTQIA+ clients and families in both private practice and community mental health settings. Personally, Anne loves travel, her family, strong coffee, getting lost in a good book, and Los Cucos.
