Amanda Rose (They/Them)

Amanda is a co-founder of Katy Pride LGBTQ Inc. and is honored to lead the organization. They believe that everyone matters and visibility for the LGBTQ+ community in Katy, Fort Bend and West Houston is needed now more then ever. They are excited to build on the momentum Katy Pride created in 2023, with the first ever Katy Pride Celebration and expand the organizations efforts in the community to year round. Amanda holds a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Administration and has a 25-year professional career in Education, Leadership Development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Rainbows, Diet Coke, the Baltimore Ravens, pizza, soft chocolate chip cookies, and peanut butter cups are a few of their favorite things. They are married with 2 young kids and reside in Katy.
