Barbara Kosciewicz (She/Her)

As a parent of an LGBTQIA adult child and a strong ally, Barbara is excited to share her passion and commitment with Katy Pride. She has volunteered at Katy Pride and the Transparent Closet for the past two years. Barbara is looking forward to serving as the Director of Community Service. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education and a Master's degree in counseling. Barbara works at a program for adults with disabilities and volunteers with Special Olympics. Outside of work, Barbara is a mother to three adult children who loves swimming, yoga, reading, camping, hiking, and cooking and baking vegan food.
